"I’ve just returned from a short visit to Munich where I stayed at the Louis Hotel for the third time since
it opened just before the 2009 Oktoberfest.
The location, squeezed in between the chaos of Marienplatz, exaggerated by the Christkindlmarkt, and the snow-padded roofs of the traders' stalls of the Viktualienmarkt, cannot be beaten. This is the most centrally located hotel in the city.
An "austeri-chic" design aesthetic delivers a fuss free interior of quality materials and beautiful objects making the Louis Hotel a sanctuary of calm. The reputation of the hotel's Emiko Restaurant, offering a fabulous array of authentic Japanese cuisine, is spreading beyond
the city.
However all of this is secondary to the exemplary service of General Manager André Garcia and his team who have all the patience and foresight guests could want."
